SIRI Thai Massage

Touch the body. Heal the mind. Calm the Spirit

I am May, your massage therapist and the founder of SiRi Thai Massage. Siri is taken from my given name “Sirilak” and it also has good meanings; wealth or fortune, glory, auspicious. I am a Thai woman who is passionate about culture and authenticity. Since moving to New Zealand in 2018, I have been learning and embracing everything NZ has to offer - a new lifestyle, Māori, refugee and immigrant cultures. Culture is the root of my identity, and it defines who I am and the way I live my life. I admire and respect other all cultures, genders, beliefs and sexualities; at the same time, I carry and am so proud of my beautiful Thai culture.

Thai massage is a valuable, therapeutic tool that is used widely in Thailand. I love having a massage so much that I would have one every week. My body loves the relaxing sensations, my body remembers how wonderful it feels when the tight muscles are relieved, the tensions are taken away, the aches are alleviated, and my body could return to its full potential again. I deeply value and believe that massage is a science of healing - not just to your body, but your mind and soul, and today I would like to share this cultural therapeutic taonga with you.
